The sad History of Porsha Williams' Relationships with Wealth Men
Is Porsha Williams a gold digger? I cannot say if she is or not. What I can say is that her relationship history consists mostly of millionaires who sadly did not treat her the way she expected to be treated. Her relationship history on the Real Housewives of Atlanta is honestly sad. In her mind, I think Porsha Williams feels that she deserves to be married to a wealthy man because of her beauty and status. But will this truly give her the happiness she yearns or more sadness? Let’s analyze her dating history.
Porsha only Dates and Marries Rich Men
Let’s be honest here, from what we have seen on the show about Porsha William’s decisions about which men to commit to, it is very obvious her criteria is that her husband has to be a multimillionaire, wealthy.
Marriage to Kordell Stewart
Porsha became a part of Real Housewives of Atlanta primarily because of her marriage to Kordell Stewart. Bravo only casts women who have a status. Either they gained the status by being married to someone famous and rich, or they themselves are a mogul and created wealth for themselves. Through Kordell being a former professional athlete, Porsha Williams was able to have access to wealth and high society.
Kordell was much older than Porsha, and from what I can remember, I believe her brother introduced her to him.

One can only speculate whether Porsha was ever in love with Kordell or not. As we all know, Kordell was very controlling of Porsha, to the point that she couldn’t go anywhere without his approval. In addition, it didn’t seem like Kordell and Porsha were ever on the same page in regards to her role as a wife. If you remember, Kordell refused to hire a nanny because he expected Porsha to be the primary caretaker of the children. Kordell did not want Porsha to work or have a career. So eventually the relationship ended because Kordell threw Porsha out of his house and filed for divorce, leaving Porsha with nothing. My only question regarding their relationship is whether Porsha ever took the time to get to know him before tying the knot.
Porsha’s Engagement to Dennis McKinley
After Porsha’s divorce from Kordell, the next serious relationship in Porsha’s life was with Dennis McKinley. I believe that Porsha was introduced to Dennis by a cousin. After meeting each other, she said that they became inseparable and that she had not left his place since they met.
In addition, Porsha Williams claimed that the connection she had with Dennis was unique; she had never connected with anyone on the level she connected with Dennis. Porsha also said on the Real Housewives of Atlanta that Dennis was God sent; he came into her life after she prayed to be next to get married.
Nevertheless, within four to six months after meeting and connecting with Dennis, Porsha Williams started to push the idea of getting married. She and Dennis started shopping for rings immediately months into the relationship. However, little did Porsha know, another cast member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta had information about Dennis that would eventually lead to the demise of the relationship.
Kandi Burruss revealed on season 11 of RHOA that Dennis McKinley was a dog. He apparently had a habit of giving his conquests Rolex watches and got their names tattooed on him. This revelation caused a stir as Kandi’s associates also revealed that they had similar information about Dennis.
When the information got to Porsha, she told Kandi that she was not asking questions about Dennis, which prompted Kandi to back off and stop telling Porsha about what she knew of Dennis. From that point on, Porsha made a decision to ignore any negative information about Dennis.
Long story short, Porsha and Dennis went on to have a baby together and got engaged. A year later, during the premiere episode of season 12 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha was shown in tears after learning that Dennis had been unfaithful to her while she was pregnant. They broke up and reconciled during that season, however, things were never the same.

Porsha’s Marriage to Simon Guobadia
During season 13 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, one of the newer cast members was introduced on the show as Porsha’s friend, Falynn Guobadia. Falynn was married to Simon Guobadia at the time of filming the season. Throughout most of season 13, Porsha and Falynn seemed to have a normal relationship. However, once the show stopped filming and airing on tv, things took a dark turn.
At the end of season 13, news broke that Simon and Falynn were divorcing. Not long after that, news broke again that Porsha and Simon were in a relationship. A month after making their relationship public, Porsha and Simon got engaged. Their relationship and engagement literally broke the internet. People accused Porsha of being a husband stealer for stealing Simon from Falynn.

Porsha as usual ignored all the naysayers. Simon and Porsha went on to get married, and Porsha quit her jobs in exchange for a jet setting life with Simon. They traveled the world, from Puerto Rico to Dubai.
However, not long after her marriage to Simon Guobadia, Porsha’s fairytale eventually came to a screeching halt. Fifteen months after their wedding, Porsha Williams filed for Divorce from Simon Guobadia. As of today, they are still going through their divorcetheir divorce. In addition, Simon Guobadia has been arrested and detained by United States Ice Agents for immigration fraud.
Is There a Pattern with Porsha’s Relationships?
Porsha Williams definitely has a pattern with her relationships.
- She rushes into relationships as long as it is with a rich man.
- She ignores red flags about the men she chooses to marry.
