 Porsha Williams Self Inflicted Wound over Marriage to Simon Guobadia

As I am watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 like everyone else, I cannot help but cry wolf in regards to Porsha Williams complaining about her estranged ex-husband Simon Guobadia's behavior during their divorce. I view Porsha's demise as being a self inflicted wound. In many ways, she really thinks that she can gaslight the audience in feeling sorry for her situation, when most of us already know that she took Simon away from Falynn. So what is she complaining about? She brought this on herself.



Why People Think Porsha Stole Simon Guobadia from Falynn Pina

Porsha has denied time and time again that she did not steal or take Simon Guobadia away from Falynn. In fact, during the opening scenes of her former show, Porsha's Family Matters, she claimed that it was Simon who asked to meet up with her. In addition, from that show, we learned how things really got started. Below is a small summary of how things got started:
  • Porsha said she DM'd Simon on social media when news broke that Simon and Falynn were divorcing.
  • Porsha reached out to check up on both Simon and Falynn and offer her support.
  • Simon took Porsha's gesture of reaching very kindly and realized that she was the woman he was looking for all along.
  • Simon asked Porsha to meetup.
So as you can see, the above bullet points is a small summary of how things really got started with Simon and Porsha. If you look at these facts alone you would think that Porsha is innocent and did not have any mal intent when she reached out to Simon. However, we have to look beyond actions and instead analyze the intentions behind the actions.

When most couples are going through divorce, there is usually a period during the divorce where there is a possibility that the couple may change their minds and cancel the proceedings altogether. By Porsha reaching out to Simon before he even had the chance to process his divorce and consider possible reconciliation with Falynn, she in essence stole that opportunity from him and Falynn. If she was a good woman and a girl's girl, she would have declined his invitation to meetup, and instead should have told him to allow himself to mourn the relationship and focus on healing.

Furthermore, many people have speculated that Porsha may have rushed to get to Simon because she knew that she only had a small window of time to "snag a rich man" off the streets before another woman got to him. In fact, during the first months of Porsha and Simon dating, it was rumored that Simon was dating other women, with one of these women being Jessica Harris. 

Jessica Harris gave an interview with Tasha K on her podcast show, Unwine with Tasha K, where she corroborated the rumors that she in fact hung out with Simon during the months he was dating Porsha. You can watch this interview below.


No one Feels Sorry for Porsha Williams

All in all, long story short, no one feels sorry for Porsha. No one cares about what Simon is doing to her and her family. Everyone has come to realize that Porsha did this to herself. She had the chance to be a good friend to Falynn by not dating and marrying her ex husband, but instead, she made the decision to be self serving. 

Porsha wanted him for his money and status, not love. She is greedy and selfish, and she is finally getting her karma.

I have no idea why Porsha insists on rushing into relationships, which I discussed in my previous blog post, Porsha's Sad Relationship History with Wealthy Men. If you know why she does this, please let me know.
