Atlanta Real Housewives Season 15 Not Lookin Hot

Yes, I have been patiently waiting for season 15 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta because, as someone who has been watching the show since season 1, I am still used to the show airing in November, not May. It has been a frustrating experience waiting for a show that I am passionate about. I hope that someday they will bring back the old schedule. I am not sure if May is such a good month, given that it is still early in the year. Anyways, do you think season 15 is looking hot to you? Are you excited after watching the trailer? Let me explain how I personally view things.

RHOA Season 15 Cast 

The cast for season 15 is not what I was hoping for. Although I will say that I am so happy to see Cynthia Bailey back as a friend. I am not sure how often she will appear on this season, but it is good to see an old face.



Here is the cast for season 15:
  • Kenya Moore
  • Kandi Burruss
  • Marlo Hampton
  • Sheree Whitfield
  • Drew Sidora
  • Sanya Richards-Ross
  • Monyetta Shaw-Carter
  • Courtney Rhodes
Really bravo? Look, although Monyetta is a nice person, she is not a reality TV show character. I am so sorry to say this, but Monyetta is boring.

I personally do not know who Courtney Rhodes is, but I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. I hope she brings something to the table.

I am glad to see the other ladies coming back, but already I see many fans of the show complaining about Marlo Hampton's return. Forgive me, Marlo is a hot mess at times, but ultimately she actually adds quite a lot of drama to the show, unlike the other ladies that are just space fillers.

The only three people that have truly carried the Real Housewives of Atlanta show since Nene Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, and Porsha Williams left, are Marlo Hampton, Kenya Moore, and Sheree Whitfield. So, I am really not sure why Bravo continues to cast the other ladies; it is baffling.

RHOA Season 15 Storylines

After watching the trailers, I was able to pick up a few storylines. 

Dating

It seems that all the single ladies of the previous seasons are finally making an effort to find love. In the trailer, Kenya Moore is seen talking about a hot guy that she is interested in, which also Marlo claims to have dated in the past. Marlo is also seen on the show talking to a guy who had previously been incarcerated, and she shares with him that she too had been incarcerated multiple times; a match made in heaven. Sheree of course is dating Martell Holt. The verdict is still out as to whether the relationship is real or not; we have to wait to see how things pan out.

Divorce

Sadly, for Drew Sidora, season 15 is not the most happiest season. If you are not aware by now, Drew and Ralph Pittman have decided to go their separate ways. For me personally, I am really sad about this development. I really liked their relationship. I look forward to watching to see what really led to their divorce. 

Conclusion

Yes, I am disappointed by season 15 based on the trailer alone, however, the Real Housewives of Atlanta has surprised us a few times, so I will definitely be watching.
