Does Bravo Regret Their Decision to Suspend Kenya Moore?
Despite all that went down at the Kenya Moore Hair Spa salon, and the decision to suspend Kenya Moore from continuing to film for season 16, why did Bravo actually air the scenes? In most cases, when someone is fired or suspended from further participation, their scenes are typically edited out. So the fact that Bravo actually aired the scenes of Kenya leads me to believe that they may be regretting the decision to suspend Kenya Moore? Let's chat about it.

Kenya Moore Dodged being Fired by Bravo
I have heard of housewives being suspended and continuing to film, but I have never heard of someone suspended from filming completely and not being fired. It is truly telling that Kenya Moore has a lot of influence at Bravo. Not only has Kenya repeatedly gotten herself into trouble, it seems like she is really good at dodging being fired; she is Teflon Don!
What amazes me is that although she was excluded from all promotions for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo still included her scenes as though she was part of the season 16 cast. So why?
In my opinion, given how much press coverage Kenya’s suspension got, Bravo knew that airing the scenes of Kenya exposing Brit would get a lot of views, which is exactly what has happened. On top of that, maybe they made the decision to air the scenes because without those scenes, the rest of the season would not make any sense. In essence, the Kenya Moore incident set the tone for the rest of season 16 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Bravo Recruits Phaedra Parks as Replacement for Kenya Moore
Another clue that Bravo realized the mistake they made by suspending Kenya Moore was the abrupt decision to bring Phaedra Parks back on the Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 16. It honestly came out of nowhere; I doubt that they ever intended for Phaedra Parks to return this soon. In fact, I think that Phaedra Parks was asked back on the show while she was in the middle of filming Married to Medicine.
Nevertheless, the conditions were right for Phaedra Parks to return. As you already know, Kandi Burruss was the biggest obstacle to Phaedra Parks coming back on the show. As you may remember, Kandi gave Bravo an ultimatum; either her or Phaedra. Obviously, after Phaedra had been exposed for being a big liar, Bravo kept Kandi and fired Phaedra.
Asking for Phaedra Parks to return back to the Real Housewives of Atlanta was obviously a desperate move on Bravo's part. Even Nene Leakes caught onto Bravo's true reason for bringing Phaedra Parks back to RHOA. She recently discussed Kenya Moore's departure on her podcast, which you can watch below.
You can also watch a snippet summary of what Nene Leakes said about Kenya Moore's suspension and Phaedra Parks return in the video below, which was posted by Page Six.
Andy Cohen Uninterested Demeanor During Brit Eady's Watch What Happens Live Appearance
Another interesting clue that Bravo regrets their decision to suspend Kenya was Andy Cohen's demeanor during Brit Eady's recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Apparently, some viewers picked up on the fact that Andy Cohen's came across as being somewhat uninterested in what Brit had to say. You can watch it below.
I personally do not agree that Andy Cohen may have been uninterested in Brit, however, I will say that maybe his lack of interest is a sign of being skeptical about Brit Eady's explanation about what happened between she and Kenya. In addition, Andy has been accused through the years, of being against certain housewives, like Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, and many others. I think that Andy tries to be as neutral and uninvolved as possible in these situations. However, if in fact Andy was skeptical about what Brit Eady said, it is a sign that Bravo in fact regrets suspending Kenya from filming.
All in all, I personally think that Bravo's decision to suspend Kenya was the right decision. I personally think that Kenya needed to face consequences for her behavior at some point.
I recommend reading my previous post about how Kenya Moore Blamed Bravo and Brit Eady for actions at her hair spa grand opening.
