Kenya Moore Actions That Led to Brittany Eady Feud
Listen, as a blogger, I am constantly paying attention to what fans are saying about the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) season 16. After episode 4 of RHOA season 16 aired, it seems the fans feel that Kenya Moore has been vindicated. From watching the episode, it does seems like Brittany Eady overreacted to Kenya calling her a peasant. But was it really an overreaction or does Brit Eady have reasons for lashing out at Kenya? Was Kenya’s past actions responsible for igniting the feud?
Kenya Moore and Britt Eady’s first Interaction
If you remember, Kenya and Brit Eady first met during Shamea Morton’s house party. Brit Eady arrived first along with her husband, and Kenya arrived later.
RHOA season 16 Episode 1 - Shamea Morton's Birthday Party |
Once Kenya arrived at the party, she gave Cynthia Bailey, her BFF, a big hug, and only waved her hand towards the newcomers Kelli and Brit. During her first encounter with Brit, Kenya bizarrely asked about her Brit’s wedding ring. Kenya asked if the ring was possibly from someone else, which caught Brit off guard. Once the women were done greeting each other, Brit went off to her husband and complained about Kenya’s questions about her ring.
During episode 2, Brit told Kelli that she was really bothered by Kenya’s question about her ring. She also commented on Kenya during episode 3 to her sister in-law.
Fast forward to episode 4, Brit was still bothered by Kenya. During the final scene of the episode, when Kenya walked into the event, she didn’t hug Brit properly and Britt immediately said that Kenya is being dismissive.
Ultimately, the final straw for Brit was Kenya calling her a peasant. To be honest, being called a peasant is not a compliment to anyone, however, it is not the worst thing to be called. Was Brit’a reaction warranted?
Kenya Moore Calling People Peasants
Ultimately, my opinion is that Kenya is primarily to blame for everything that happened. There is nowhere in the world that calling someone a peasant is right? I do understand that sometimes Kenya could be joking or just being playful, however, you don’t call people you just met peasants. Has fame gone to Kenya’s head?
Furthermore, everything that has gone down in season 16 so far is reminiscent of how Kenya treated Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Kim Fields, and so forth. Kenya does have a history of speaking to people in a dismissive way.
Has Bravo enabled Kenya Moore’s bad behavior through the years? I don’t necessarily think Bravo enabled her behavior, it is simply the nature of reality tv. People who misbehave are rewarded with fame and money. Let’s face it, fans don’t like boring housewives, unfortunately.
What do you think?
