What Kenya Moore Revealed on Her Confessionals
The first episode or video of Kenya Moore's long awaited "confessionals" has finally been posted on her new YouTube Channel. I watched it, and I have to say that Kenya did the right thing to tell her side of the story, regardless if no one else agrees with her. So here are some of what we learned from Kenya Moore's Confessionals.
Snapshot from Kenya Moore's Confessional |
Porsha Williams Lied about Another Housewife Helping Kenya Expose Brit Eady
Kenya has once again refuted the claims made by Porsha Williams, that another Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member helped Kenya Moore with exposing Brit Eady. Porsha made these statements on her own YouTube channel show, Don't Make Me Call Porsha, which caused a stir and got people speculating about which of the cast members helped Kenya.
Kenya further accused Porsha of profiting off of her storyline.
Kenya Moore Found Pictures of Brit Eady Online
Contrary to what Porsha said, Kenya has stated that she used readily available, and publicly posted, pictures of Brit Eady for the posters which she showed on the show during her Kenya Moore Hair Spa salon grand opening. In fact, Kenya says that she consulted a lawyer, who told her that she did not violate any laws by using publicly available images.
Brit Eady was Dull and Boring and Targeted Kenya
According to Kenya, Brit Eady was "exceptionally boring" during the first weeks of filming, compared to the other new girls like Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley, and Shamea Morton. Kenya believes that Brit's dullness may have caused producers to pull her to the side and push her to confront Kenya, as this is what she promised to do during her hiring interview.
Also, Kenya theorizes that Brit Eady may have auditioned to be the villain for season 16 by promising to go after Kenya Moore. However, once Brit met Kenya, she was surprised and thrown off that Kenya was really nice. This is why when Andy Cohen asked Brit over and over again, about what exactly it was that Kenya did to her, she did not have an answer because Kenya had only been nice to her the entire time.
Bravo is Treating Kenya Moore Unfairly compared to other Real Housewives Shows
Another point that Kenya made during her confessionals has to do with the fact that similar things have been done on other shows on Bravo. The difference is that those people were never fired. So why is Kenya being treated differently?
Additionally, Kenya also pointed out the fact that the producers did not really do an actual investigation; they simply used Brit Eady's words as proof, despite the fact that Kenya has been a housewife continuously for 12 seasons.
Kenya Moore Uninvited for Season 16 Reunion
Well, another revelation is that Kenya was initially invited for season 16 reunion, however, she was later uninvited.
Honestly, although Kenya Moore made valid points and argued her point of view very well, I still think that Bravo made the right decision to suspend her. Had they not suspended Kenya from the moment that she exposed Brit Eady, what else could she have done for the rest of the season? How much darker would the show have gotten?
Nonetheless, I think Kenya Moore is slowly moving on from this incident and moving on with her life. She seems happy from what I saw in her confessionals. I only wish her the best in her future endeavors.
