 Porsha Williams Fails to Live Up to Bravo Expectations for season 16

When Porsha Williams was cast for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA), it was expected that she would be the central character. In fact, just after the news broke that she was returning, Porsha posted a video of herself saying that “Porsha Guobadia” is in the building. However, despite all the hype for Porsha’s return, she is simply not living up to the expectations for Bravo and RHOA fans. So what is really going on?

Porsha’s Return Overshadowed by Kenya Moore and Brit Eady’s incident

Well, unfortunately for Porsha, her stardom for season 16 was overshadowed by the drama of Kenya Moore and Brit Eady. Even before the show aired, most people only planned to watch the show to see what really happened at Kenya Moore’s hair spa, and why she was suspended. No one really planned to watch the show because Porsha was returning.

Porsha was supposed to be the ratings savior! However, it actually turned out to be Kenya Moore who has pulled most of the weight for the show. The episode that aired after Kenya  Moore’s departure has had significantly less viewership than previous episodes. It has been Kenya Moore after all who gets fans to tune into the show.

Porsha Williams Drastic Change of Storyline


When Porsha Williams signed the contract for season 16 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, she signed the documents as Porsha Guobadia, a married woman. However, shortly after signing her conract and bragging online about being Porsha Guobadia, Porsha filed for divorce.

The divorce filing threw a major curve ball on the expected storyline from Porsha. Bravo was left shocked, and so were the fans.



In addition to filing for divorce, Porsha’s estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, proceeded to make Porsha’s life as difficult as possible, especially pertaining to filming in the marital home. Simon filed court documents to try to prevent Porsha from filming in the home, which in many was prevented her from having a full storyline.

This aspect of Porsha’s life was out of her control, which unfortunately affected her season 16 storyline.

Porsha Williams Refusal to Talk about Her Divorce from Simon Guobadia 


Listen, I fully understand that everything that has transpired in Porsha’s life has been quite embarrassing for her, to the point that she is more willing to attack people who question her, than actually talk about it and come clean about her actions. Porsha’s refusal to talk about her divorce is one of the reasons why she has been boring so far for season 16, and why she is failing to meet expectations.

Had Porsha actually had an honest conversation with Kelli Ferrell about Simon, maybe she might have actually been the star we all expected her to be.

Porsha Williams needs to lay out all her cards about her relationship with Simon Guobadia. Porsha should stop trying to hide behind a fake personality and allow others to confront her about her bad behavior.

All in all, Porsha has disappointed me. I always knew that she was unapologetic about her bad behavior, but I had no idea that she would have no remorse about stealing someone else’s husband.

Bravo needs to cut her pay until she actually starts telling the truth! What do you think?
